Journal Entry: Fri May 2, 2008, 12:21 AM
It looks like I'm doing 50 questions at a quarter after 1:00am D: Oh noes!

1. Are you ready for 50 questions?
Questions? Oh yes questions; nodding off back there.

2. Which state/country do you live in?
Wisconsin dontcha know? Excuse me while I eat my cheese...

3. What is your favourite thing you got for Christmas?
Christmas? Oooh hard one (can't remember! XD) I'd have to go with.. a trip to Disney World. Yes, thats right, I'm just a big kid inside :3

If I recall, playing Euchre and winning ^_^

5'11", I think. Never 6 foot but I can't tell if I lost an inch. Tallest on in the family and one of the shorter people on campus D:

6. Are you new on dA? How long have you been a member?
Think this profile is summer 2005, but I lost (quite litterally, *lost* couldn't find it) that was made a few years ealier.

7. Are you male or female?
Male.

8. Which program do you use to chat?
MSN Messenger and Xfire.. some times

Nope.

11. Is the computer you're using your own computer?

15. What is your favorite video game or anime character?

Green.

17. Everyone loves candy, right?
Everyone except my teeth & dentist! I once as a kid had a diet of Sweet Tarts.. no one was ever heard from again.

Ooh my character? Well good sir if you please a dragon :3 RAWR good fun! Although, 'Rogwell' is actually my archer off of Asheron's Call that I lovingly cared for 2 years in AC's prime. So, like, when I'm not feeling up to par with dragons I have a magic casting archer.. of DOOM!

Is it summer yet?

Journal Entry: Mon Apr 21, 2008, 12:54 AM
The journal looks a little dusty.. ahem.

So.. summer vacation is only 3 weeks away and the average temperature around here is creeping up to the 60s and 70s again. This means my willingness to do work is quickly sinking like a lead balloon. Good news? That just means I have more time for art :3 Well, half my classes are art so thats OK I guess.

Lets see... I have a duck, a cookie stealing wolf, WIPs of a new Azure and a brand new Eastern on the way, a couple art exchanges due in about 9 days. I want to draw a turtle, well own one too (I used to raise snappers as a kid, go fingers!) and tiny PB demands a formal name and a new image. LOL I got a tiny back log :3 Thats all digital, just wait until I can get my oil paints at home & at the ready :D

While I'm just kinda rambling off here I finally squeezed in on this Dragon Cave site, thing ([link]). I managed to get these two guys:
Adopt one today!Adopt one today!
Click them! All I know is that they need views in order to hatch and live, I think... I just don't want them to die :(

It is done!

Journal Entry: Tue Feb 5, 2008, 2:47 PM
I really mean 'it is done'! Yea I finally finished up working on my latest and greatest creation: Peanut Butter! No I didn't reinvent the bread spread but a tiny dragon that measures approx. 5 inches in length!

Also I want I want to give a shoutout to every body who have been looking at my gallery and adding favs/comments which is appreciated beyond belief  This goes double for every body that enjoys the Books and a Dragon as that was even featured in The Dragons of Deviantart! Oooh that was such an enjoyable suprise :glomp: I uploaded it as a side thought thinking "some thing traditional would be nice" and BAM it was insta-loved :D I'll try to get more of my traditional workings up in the future.

Urgh, monitors...

Journal Entry: Fri Jan 11, 2008, 1:10 AM
So, what first started out as a plight about contrast turned into the realization that my monitor has been boost-saturating my colors for the past 3 years (or how ever long I've had it). So here I've been making these digitals paintings thinking "ooh pretty colors!" when if I turn off this nifty enhancment they all actually grey out fairly bad. Although, comparing (some what) to the other monitors in the house the color is fairly saturated but also much more grey (meaning, the other monitors fall in between). So now I'm right back to reteaching my self about the wonders of monitors and how no matter what I do it will look different and probably look bad on every thing else! Cheers! So now I'm making an image that is very similar to Azure Jaden here but then even Azure turns out a lot less saturated than intended. I've come to the conlusion, then, that because I'm using most of the light and saturated swatches Photoshop has to offer that it probably doesn't matter if I change my screen or not. As long as I don't send any thing out to print I should be fine. Oh boy I would hate to go and try to get some thing to print the way it looks on screen :(

Ok, now that I've rained on my own parade for a while I'm going to go and try to finish what I started a month ago. I have my sanity back, which clearly was not there thirty days ago (seriously) and hopefully I will have 3 completed pieces in the next week or so. School starts back up for me on the 14th so I'm placing a self ETA of the following Friday. Of course barring any of my brilliant "Lets make a major change 2/3 of the way through!" which I've done a couple times already.

URGH ok its 2am and I have to do any thing beside stare at some color swatches :X
